Overview:

December MAT 2010 was the usual MAT pattern and no surprises in the test as such. The test was sectional with 5 sections each comprising 40 qns, there was –ve marking of 25% for each incorrect answer. The overall score could be around 110+ with an attempt of 120+ questions.

DETAILED ANALYSIS

Offering a high scoring section of Intelligence & Verbal Reasoning, manageable Language Comprehension specially RC because of half page length passages with 4 Qs each and slightly difficult Mathematical Skills, the question paper, on an overall basis, provided sections that belonged to an average level of difficulty. Each section contained a few questions that were easily manageable and hence made the question paper quite scoring.

Language Comprehension

This was again a section of easy to moderate difficulty level. Overall an attempt of 25+ is manageable in 35 mins. Let us take a closer look at this section!
