MHCET- 2011
Analysis

MHCET is the second last test for B school entrance in this season. The paper was bit surprising and there were four RC’s, one was long and the rest three were short. Some of the questions were complicated and a few were direct detail and vocabulary based. The only difficulty is the time allotted, as 200 questions has to be cracked in 150 min. but as there is no negative marking, that makes a test taker making wild but smart guesses. The “MHCET - 2011” (Held on 27 Feb 2011)  paper was to some extent moderate in terms of difficulty level as compared to last years’. A good speed with better accuracy was the key to clear the cut offs. An overall attempt of 135+ marks with 90% accuracy would be idyllic to obtain the calls from Maharashtra colleges.

On a whole, Quant was most scoring section in minimum time and Reasoning was also easy in difficulty level. 60+ questions in Reasoning with 25+ in Quant gives a fine balance. In VA also, a student can manage 50+ questions.

In brief this year MHCET was a High Speed Moderate accuracy test where at the end students surely felt tired but happy since in each section there were questions which were convenient.
